The fashion industry uses an alarming amount of single-use plastic and garments can go through up to 3 bags before reaching shop floors.
So what's the alternative? Biodegradable plastics are becoming more widespread but the truth is they're still bad for the environment, taking up to 20 years to degrade into tiny pieces. We've spent months researching packaging and have developed a specially milled glassine paper that's grease and water resistant.
They're also semi-transparent, important for when the factory is packing orders. The paper is 100% recyclable, biodegradable and made from sustainable sources. We're open-sourcing our suppliers for this and encourage companies to get in touch if they're looking for a viable plastic alternative.
